The store brings forth an array of collections based on traditional Bandhej, Lehriya, Mothra, women's and men's garments on handwoven cotton and wool, block prints, lac and thread jewellery. |
The store presents traditional craft in contemporary products and hence provides sustainable livelihood to artisans.

Abhivyakti which literally means "expression" stand for dignity and security of the labour of artisans. Pattus, bed spreads, table linen, etc from Phalodi, garments, woolen jackets and shawls and durries from Vasundhara, exquisite hand embroidery items from Seemant, all can be found here, well arranged and stocked in room with its antique rohida wooden roof and red sandstone pilars. |
Abhivyakti sells textiles produced by skilled artisans from local villages. The profits go directly to the producers and help to fund a girls' college. Some of their products are also exported to Europe via OXFAM, the British charity organisation. The profits go straight into artisans education and family welfare projects. These items are manufactured by skilled workers residing in 70 villages around Bikaner. They are helped by our organization which assists the artisans with marketing, design consultancy and loans. The object of the exercise is to eliminate the middleman, and enable the artisans to reap the full benefit of their labour.
